Dr. Velilla is trained and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his Medical degree of Physician and Surgeon from Pontificia Bolivariana University in Colombia “One of the best Medical schools of South América”.

Dr Velilla has achieved many academic honors, Dr Cesar Velilla graduated top three in his class. Post graduation he worked in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine. In 2005 he was awarded with the “most outstanding resident award Best Resident of the year.” Later Dr. Velilla worked in Internal Medicine and critical Care at   Jackson Memorial Hospital /University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in Miami Florida. Some others awards include “American top physician 2009”.“Patient choice award 2008, 2009, 2010,2011,2012”

Dr. Velilla has over 13 years of experience in all areas of Aesthetics. He is certified in Botox, Restylane, Perlane, Cosmelan, laser hair removal, laser therapies among many others. To this date; Dr. Velilla has performed more than 3,000 areas of Botox and dermafillers, he is certified in SLIMLIPO and developed a new technique V-SLIMSCULPTURE, that combine "tumescent anesthesia, laser lipolysis and Liposculpture"

Currently, Dr. Velilla is an official perceptorship center for Palomar Medical technologies where other doctors get trained in Slim-lipo
