Evolution MD Meso-therapy

Mesotherapy

FDA is alerting consumers that it is not aware of evidence supporting effectiveness of the substances used in lipodissolve. The safety of these substances when used alone or in combination is unknown. Lipodissolve and mesotherapy have not been approved in the U.S. FDA and its use is “off label” patient needs to be aware of the risks and complications.

It is a non-surgical treatment for cellulite and localized fat reduction. It employs microinjections of very small doses of mesotherapy medications that have high anti-cellulite and fat burning qualities. By delivering these medications into the mesoderm (middle layer of the skin) mesotherapy treatment stimulates skin repair, melts fat cells and destroys connective tissue bands responsible for the appearance of the cellulite. Treatment can be done once a week.

Mesotherapy and weight loss is for those who find liposuction to be “too much”, or those who have already had liposuction and now find fat depositing in other areas as well as cellulite that looks worse than before. Non- invasive Mesotherapy for fat loss and body contouring is the perfect answer.

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is the practice of injecting small amounts of medication and/or vitamins into the mesoderm or middle layer of skin. Mesotherapy was given formal recognition by the French Academy of Medicine in 1987 and was pioneered by Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952. Presently, over 15,000 medical practitioners provide Mesotherapy throughout Europe, Great Britain, and South America. Mesotherapy has been used in the treatment of acne, arthritis, and joint problems. It has also been use for sports injuries as well as for cosmetic purposes such as: reducing cellulite and weight loss. While each Mesotherapy treatment may involve hundreds of small injections, the treatment sessions typically take only minutes to complete. Mesotherapy over the course of approximately 10 sessions blocks our ability to store fat and it stimulates our ability to burn it up.

The Procedure.

Mesotherapy is performed to actually melt away unwanted localized deposits of fat from your body. During the procedure, your doctor uses very tiny needles (about half an inch) to painlessly make multiple injections of the medications into the targeted area. For overall weight loss, your doctor might inject larger areas to cause a general dissolution of the fat over your body. When treating cellulite, one formulation of medications may be used to dissolve the fat and another to destroy the fibrous bands that bind the skin. In some cases, a special injection device may be used to deliver the injections.

Treatments average 10 sessions, spaced 1-2 weeks apart. Patients say the treatment feels like a small pinch. Some patients prefer to use local anesthetic cream applied thirty minutes prior to their treatment.

Mesotherapy is custom-tailored for each individual. Unlike surgery, Mesotherapy is virtually painless and has no downtime. It also consists of no heavy bandages, girdles, or anesthesia. Patients having Mesotherapy have no disruption to their daily life.

What about side effects?

Side effects are limited because Mesotherapy is delivered directly to the targeted area. This reduces the possibility of drug interaction, and reduces the amount of medications required for each procedure. Since localized bruising is common, we suggest you discontinue blood thinners before your treatment.

Mesotherapy and Cellulite

Over 80% of women experience cellulite problems. Cellulite or dimples on the thighs, buttocks or abdomen appear to have little relations with life style. Even those who exercise are not immune to the problem. Cellulite usually impact women, men are rarely affected. A female’s skin is thinner, the orientation of collagen and elastin fibers are different. Hormonal changes play an important role.

Mesotherapy and Aging?

Wrinkle appearance is a natural part of the human aging process, it causes decrease of skin hydration and diminishment of elastin and collagen production. Various factors play a role, including excess UV exposure, the presence of pollutants in our environment, smoking, and higher concentration of free radicals. Deliveries of specialized active substance address various facets of the skin aging process and it contributes to skin rejuvenation and repair. Generally, this process is unstoppable, however it can be significantly delayed. It is important for anyone who is considering this voluntary procedure to understand that the products used to perform lipo dissolve are not approved by the FDA for fat removal.

Weight Reduction

The global epidemic of obesity threatens longevity. Considerable evidence supports the notion that a physically active person of normal body weight lives longer than one who is overweight, an inactive individual. Obesity causes premature morbidity and mortality, consequence of obesity-related diseases. Furthermore, an overweight status is often associated with metabolic problems, such as the Metabolic Syndrome X. The association between being overweight and the occurrence of the Metabolic Syndrome X presents a unifying concept of premature aging.
